Linking models, data and surveillance
My current research includes computational approaches to One Health and outbreak preparedness. This work brings together networks, phylodynamic analysis, spatiotemporal modelling and AI methods across several programmes.
Within EUPAHW, I develop phylodynamic and network analyses linking livestock movements, wildlife and landscape data for work on hepatitis E across pigs, wild boar and humans. Within SSS-mod, I develop workflows for data preparation, recalibration, model outputs and interface reuse.
Architecture and implementation
For NextdAI, I co-develop AI architecture and data infrastructure for heterogeneous surveillance, anomaly detection, neurosymbolic characterisation, forecasting and decision support. NextdAI is in development; its status is distinct from the ongoing programme work.
The completed IMBIT programme provided the context for developing NetForge and HerdLink and for contributions to multi-route simulation and Bayesian inference. The programme entries below distinguish the role and status of each activity.
Contribution
Develops computational analyses and software workflows; co-develops the NextdAI architecture.
